Chicago’s urban golf scene is taking several steps up with the opening of a second Chicago-area Five Iron Golf in the Block 37 shopping mall. Five Iron Golf offers indoor, simulated golf experiences, lessons, leagues and more, and soon you won’t have to trek all the way to the N. Dearborn Street location to get your swings in.

Five Iron Golf doubles as a bar and a place to grab a great meal, so the opening on Level Two in The Loop’s shopping mall will mean a little something for everyone—not just golf-enthusiasts. An opening date has not been announced for the Block 37 venue, although the shopping mall’s website suggests Five Iron should open sometime this fall.

Five Iron Golf is certainly planning some major growth. What Now Philly reports the company will open locations in Seattle, Boston, and Detroit and is on the hunt for additional cities to expand into.

Founded in 2017 by Mike Doyle, Jared Solomon, Nora Dunnan, and Katherine Solomon, Five Iron Golf opened its flagship location in Manhattan and has since grown to offer high-tech golf experiences in Philadelphia, Baltimore, Las Vegas, and beyond. You can even find a location in Singapore.

You won’t want to miss this opening—according to Five Iron, even Joseph Spieth and Tiger Woods use Full Swing simulators.
