Foxtrot Market, the chain of convenience stores that goes heavy on the convenience, already has 13 locations throughout Chicago, Dallas, and Washington D.C. The company, based right here in Chicago and owned and operated by CEO Mike LaVitola, started online only but in 2015 opened its very first brick-in-mortar in West Loop. Clearly, the company has been busy since and plans to get busier.
In addition to the multi-city expansion the company has planned, a liquor license application obtained by What Now Chicago indicates a new Foxtrot is headed to 23 W. Maple Street in Chicago’s Near North Side neighborhood. No word yet on when this location will open, but the application is for ‘consumption on premises.’
If you haven’t already given it a shot, Foxtrot Market is an experience you don’t want to miss. The convenience store, which sells your typical goods (including booze) at typical convenience store prices, has a delivery feature that can get your order to you in 30 minutes, or that’s what the company aims for anyway. You can shop in-person, of course, and enjoy a coffee at the company’s café, or simply download the free Foxtrot app and do all your shopping from the comfort of your own home.
From snacks to staples, Foxtrot’s curated stores aim to meet all of your most immediate needs. And expanding in Chicago is certainly doing the trick. Visit the company’s website for more information.
