A new chef-driven restaurant is coming to the upcoming TruePointe development in Hilliard, with plans to open next summer.
The concept is the latest from Culinary Collectives, a team led by experienced local chef Derek Bush. With a background that includes time in leadership roles at major Columbus restaurant groups and a teaching position at Ohio State, Bush is bringing a fresh approach to neighborhood dining. He’s partnering with entrepreneur Justin McMaster to bring the idea to life.
Set to open in summer 2026, the restaurant will feature a rotating menu that blends comfort food influences with refined techniques. Dishes will be built around versatile ingredients, allowing for variety while maintaining consistent quality and streamlined prep. The goal is to create a welcoming space where locals can grab a casual meal or celebrate a night out.
The restaurant will be located within TruePointe, a massive mixed-use project that aims to blend living, working and leisure in one walkable destination near the border of Hilliard, Upper Arlington and Dublin. The area is already generating buzz with other planned spots, including an all-day brunch café and a specialty coffee shop.
The new restaurant has not yet announced a name, but more details are expected in the coming months. For now, it’s shaping up to be a key part of Hilliard’s growing food scene.
