Coastline Coffee Company is expanding its Delaware-area footprint with a second location planned to open this winter, according to 614 Now.
The mother-daughter-owned coffee shop announced the expansion on September 28, three years after opening its current location at 7775 Dublin Rd. in Delaware.
Coastline Coffee Company serves a variety of espresso drinks, matcha, bagel bombs and breakfast sandwiches. The coffee shop has also become known for its creative drinks, including beverages topped with cereal.
In announcing the expansion, the company said it had not initially imagined building such a large customer base at its first location, which ultimately gave the owners the opportunity to pursue a second shop.
The new location is expected to open this winter, although Coastline has not yet revealed its address.
The coffee shop is keeping the location under wraps for now, joking on Facebook that customers should not expect its baristas to reveal the secret.
The expansion also moves Coastline closer to a long-term goal of growing the coffee concept into a national chain, according to the company.
More details about the second location, including its address and exact opening date, are expected to be announced as the project progresses.
What Now Columbus reached out to Coastline Coffee Company for additional details but did not receive a response at the time of publication.
