OX-B’s is closing its last shipping container location in Central Ohio as the Ohio-based chicken wing chain prepares to move into a new brick-and-mortar space in Lancaster, according to 614 Now reports.
Founded in Newark in 2020, OX-B’s started out of a repurposed shipping container and serves chicken wings, wraps, sandwiches, salads, and other menu items. As the chain has grown, it has increasingly shifted toward traditional brick-and-mortar locations.
On September 27, OX-B’s Lancaster, located at 1732 E. Main St., announced on Instagram that the shipping container location would serve its final customers on September 30.
The restaurant is offering customers 20% off orders during its final two days and said it also has another surprise planned for the Lancaster community.
Although the shipping container location is closing, OX-B’s is not leaving Lancaster. The company said it is preparing to open a new brick-and-mortar location in the area.
OX-B’s has not yet revealed the address of the new space but teased that the new location is coming soon. The restaurant said additional updates will be shared through its social media channels as plans progress.
What Now Columbus reached out to OX-B’s for additional information but did not receive a response at the time of publication.
