According to a recent press release, a new steakhouse concept will open in downtown Columbus in summer 2024. Butcher & Rose will occupy the ground floor of the recently redeveloped Preston Centre at 155 E Broad St.
The eatery is a collaboration between local developer Edwards Companies and Cameron Mitchell Restaurants, a Columbus-based hospitality company named for its founder, Cameron Mitchell. As explained in the press release, Butcher & Rose’s ground floor location will seamlessly connect the property’s highly anticipated below-grade garden element.
Renderings released by the hospitality company show a two floor restaurant, with lots of windows and plants surrounding the inside and outside of the first floor, while the lower level features ample lighting and colorful decor. The release further explained that the steakhouse will incorporate classic and memorable elements, expertly modernized and styled in unexpected ways that will consistently surprise and delight guests.
“Butcher & Rose will be a stunning, lively and over-the-top steakhouse experience for guests to indulge and create memorable moments with mouthwatering culinary creations,” Cameron Mitchell, CEO and founder of Cameron Mitchell Restaurants, said in the press release. “The partnership with Edwards Companies will bring new life to this section of Broad Street, offering an unforgettable high-end dining experience and the genuine hospitality our raving fans have grown to love.”
