A Dallas-java favorite is brewing up a fresh location. Ascension Coffee is opening a new storefront in Southlake Town Square, set to open this summer, reports Dallas Business Journal.
The cafe will be filling the space left in the dining scene and locals’ hearts at 100 State Street where Corner Bakery used to be. Paperwork filed with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation shows that the renovated storefront will give Ascension 4,400 square feet of space in which to serve guests.
The coffee shop is on track to open in August. The Ascension website offers a tantalizing peak at what’s in store, certain to brew excitement in area java fans: “Soon, you’ll be able to drop by for your favorite pour-over, share stories over lattes, or just take a moment to slow down with us in a brand-new space. We can’t wait to welcome our new neighbors in Southlake.”
The Southlake Town Square cafe will be Ascension’s 7th DFW home. The small but mighty chain currently has locations open in Dallas’s Design District and Crescent Court, as well as stores in Addison, Frisco, Fort Worth, and White Rock.
