Chubby Skewers Headed to Frisco

The restaurant focuses on serving Authentic Northeastern Chinese barbecue.

The DFW is getting a new home for authentic Chinese barbecue. Chubby Skewers, a concept from the busy and acclaimed Chubby Group, has filed papers to open a new location in Frisco, with work projected to begin in late spring. 

 

The restaurant will be cooking up its signature fare at 9180 Warren Parkway, suite 170. Paperwork filed with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation shows that Chubby Skewers will span 4,000 square feet. 

 

Dates projected by the TDLR are subject to change, however at this juncture work is estimated to begin on May 31 of this year and to wrap by August 31. If these dates stand, Frisco diners may be able to enjoy Chubby Skewers’s “Authentic Northeastern Chinese barbecue that brings you happiness.” by late summer or early fall.

 

Chubby Skewers currently has locations open in Atlanta, Los Angeles, New York, Las Vegas, Phoenix, and Chicago. The concept has become a hit thanks to its unique and appealing model, described on the website as: “Chubby Skewer emphasizes interactive and self-service barbecuing, offering a wide variety of dishes that provide an authentic Northeastern barbecue experience. Its commitment to quality and innovation has made it a beloved choice for food enthusiasts.”
