Firehouse Subs is planning to open several new restaurants in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, with the first one expected in early 2027. Franchisee Chris Raleigh, of Serendipity Management Group, confirmed to What Now Dallas that the group’s furthest-along site is in Roanoke, just off Highway 377.
Raleigh said the group is hoping to sign the lease in the next week or two and start the permitting process. It is also working on leases for locations in North Fort Worth, Denton and The Colony. No addresses have been confirmed yet, since none of the leases have been signed.
The agreement was announced Oct. 7 and calls for restaurants throughout Denton County. Raleigh has decades of experience in the restaurant industry, and his group plans to support local communities through the Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation.
The franchise is a fast-casual chain known for its hot subs and was founded by firefighters. The brand donates to first responders and community organizations through the foundation, and it is expanding across the U.S. and Canada, focusing on high-potential, competitive markets.
Roanoke, in Denton County, sits along Highway 377 between Fort Worth and Denton, a growing stretch of retail and dining. The Colony, in the northern Dallas suburbs, and Denton, home to two universities, are also among the sites in play.
“We’re excited to be partnered with Firehouse Subs. They are a brand known for high-quality food and great engagement in the community, both of which are cornerstones of our restaurant group. We look forward to being great partners to the communities we are serving,” Raleigh told What Now Dallas.
