Paris Baguette Plans Galleria-Area Flagship in Dallas

Planned for Galleria Plaza, the new café would mark Rahul Rai’s third Paris Baguette in North Texas and feature a larger footprint than a typical location

Paris Baguette, the global bakery café franchise, plans to bring one of its largest U.S. locations yet to the Dallas Galleria area. According to public filings, the new café is planned for 13710 Dallas Parkway, Suite H, inside Galleria Plaza, with construction expected to begin in late July and a projected opening around November 2026.

What Now Dallas spoke to Dallas’ franchise owner, Rahul Rai, who called it a flagship location — one of the largest in the brand’s portfolio — and said it would include a dedicated conference room for business meetings, setting it apart from a typical café footprint.

The location choice was deliberate. Rai cited the Galleria’s ongoing renovation and reinvention, with new international retailers coming in, as a key draw. He also pointed to the Dallas Mavericks’ planned new arena on Alpha Parkway, roughly half a mile away, as a major factor.

“It is one of the most iconic areas, and it is now going to be ramped up again,” Rai told What Now Dallas.

For Rai and his wife, the decision to invest in Paris Baguette was personal. Years of traveling to Paris and Italy left them longing for the kind of effortless, high-quality bakery experience that remains largely absent in the U.S.

“We always thought it would be very nice to have a European-style bakery concept here,” he said. “When we came across Paris Baguette, it fit in with our mindset and view.”

The Galleria location would be Rai’s third Paris Baguette, joining existing locations in Allen and Mansfield. A fourth, in South Arlington, is already in the pipeline.

According to QSR Magazine, the brand itself is in the middle of an aggressive national expansion. Paris Baguette is on pace to reach 400 North American locations this year, with 150 openings planned for 2026, and recently broke ground on a $200 million manufacturing facility in Burleson, Texas. The brand was founded in South Korea in 1988 and first entered the U.S. market in 2005
