Dallas pizza fans craving a North Eastern slice, rejoice! Prince Street Pizza, a New York City mainstay, is bringing piping hot Sicilian-style pies to the region, reports the Dallas Business Journal.

The chain will be helping ensure no long-term pizza gap occurs in the neighborhood, taking over the space vacated by Fireside Pies in 2023. Prince Street is setting up its pizza ovens at 2820 North Henderson Avenue, a space which will provide the restaurant with 2,240 square feet. 1,013 square feet of the area is patio space, suggesting diners will be able to enjoy their slices al fresco.

According to paperwork filed with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation, construction began on March 5, 2025 and is set to wrap by July 5. Prince Street Pizza’s CEO Lawrence Longo projects a September opening for the pizzeria.

Longo explains to What Now Dallas that the DFW offers the ideal conditions for bringing Prince Street to Texas. He states: “We’re excited to bring Prince Street Pizza to the South, and what better place to do it than Dallas. The city’s vibrant culinary scene makes it the perfect spot for our inaugural Southern location, and we can’t wait to become part of the local community.”

While the East Dallas storefront will be Prince Street’s first Texas brick-and-mortar, the concept is not a total stranger to the Lonestar State’s dining scene. The pizzeria hosted a week-long pop-up in Dallas in 2021, giving residents a taste of things to come.
