A Nashville ice cream concept that has been named the best ice cream in the city is making its Texas debut in Frisco. According to public filings, Sarabha’s Creamery plans to open at 2552 Stonebrook Pkwy., with a completion date targeted for December 2026. However, dates listed in public filings are not always definitive.

What Now Dallas spoke to founder Gursharan Singh, who confirmed the project and shared the story behind the brand and it’s first Texas location.

Sarabha’s menu centers on Indian-style ice creams and chai, with flavors rooted in natural, whole ingredients rather than artificial additives or flavor enhancers. The concept is built around a philosophy of radical simplicity. No corn syrup. No eggs. No stabilizers. No artificial flavors.

“If it’s mango, it’s just real mango fruit, milk, and sugar. Very clean ingredients,” Singh said.

Every batch is made in small quantities to preserve freshness and quality. The ice cream is not mass-produced but crafted intentionally. “We create every batch separately so it maintains the freshness,” Singh told What Now Dallas.

The results speak for themselves. Sarabha’s has been named the best ice cream in Nashville by Nashville scene, a distinction Singh said he intends to carry into the Frisco market.

The move to Texas wasn’t a calculated market expansion; it started with a friendship. Singh has known his Texas partner for 10 to 12 years, and when the friend visited Nashville, tried the product, and said he wanted to open one in Texas, Singh took him seriously. “I just want to open up with somebody I knew first,” Singh said.

The trust was already there; the timing just took a while. Over the past year alone, the brand received 15 to 16 requests to open in Texas. Frisco is the answer to all of them.

“We are trying to do the same thing over there, keep everything the same quality,” Singh told What Now Dallas. The Stonebrook Parkway address places Sarabha’s in the heart of one of Frisco’s busiest retail corridors, a city that has become one of the fastest-growing in the country and one of the most sought-after markets for food and beverage concepts in North Texas.

The Frisco location will be Sarabha’s third overall, joining two existing Nashville locations.
