The city’s nightlife district is getting a high-end steakhouse from out west.
The team at Steak 48 recently submitted permitting documents for their newest location, coming to 4829 McKinney Avenue in Dallas. This is to be the Arizona-based company’s second Texas restaurant. Right now, an opening date hasn’t been established as the project is going through the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation for approval.
Steak 48 already has locations in Beverly Hills and Del Mar, California, Charlotte, Chicago, Philadelphia, Phoenix and Houston. It originally comes from brothers Jeffrey and Michael Mastro from Arizona, who named it after their own 48th state. From there, the team expanded to Chicago and then to other markets around the country.
At their Houston location, Steak 48 features an extensive menu of prime steaks and chops, as well as seafood options, appetizers and salads. Their raw bar features fresh oysters, colossal shrimp cocktail and Maine lobster cocktail, as well as caviar.
The building is at the corner of Monticello Avenue, next to Goodies Cakery. This is also across from Chelsea Corner American restaurant, and near Javier’s Gourmet Mexicano. It is situated on the north side of the district.
What Now Dallas has reached out to the team at Steak 48 and is awaiting comment on the location. More information can be found on steak48.com.
