Sugared + Bronzed is bringing a new studio to Fort Worth. According to public filings, the company is set to open a location at 1621 River Run, Suite 121. What Now Dallas spoke with founder and president Courtney Claghorn, who shared that the company is hoping to open by the end 2026, pending permits.
Sugared + Bronzed specializes in natural sugaring hair removal and airbrush spray tanning, with locations across California, New York, Pennsylvania, Texas, and Florida.
The Fort Worth studio will be the brand’s fifth location in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, following strong performance from its existing stores in the region.
“All of our stores in the Dallas area, including Addison and Plano, have been performing really well. So Fort Worth felt like the next best option,” Claghorn told What Now Dallas.
The company was deliberate about more than just the market; the specific site also mattered. Claghorn said the team paid close attention to the surrounding businesses, parking availability, and whether the location could attract customers from a wide range of neighborhoods, while also creating a convenient experience for customers.
The opening also comes at a milestone moment for the brand, as Sugared + Bronzed is approaching its 50th location company-wide this month, meaning the total will already be well past that mark by the time the Fort Worth studio opens.
Fort Worth isn’t the only market on the brand’s radar. The company has already signed a lease for a new location at Preston Center in Dallas and is also planning to expand into Austin. “We do plan on opening a couple more in Austin in the future,” Claghorn told What Now.
For now, Fort Worth customers can visit the brand’s existing Dallas-area studios or shop its retail products while waiting for the new location to open.
