7 Brew Coffee, a rapidly growing drive-thru beverage chain, is opening a new stand on the border of Wheat Ridge and Arvada, city records show. Construction is in progress at 5002 Kipling St., the future site of the new coffee shop.

This new store is being developed by Wabeek LLC, a Denver metro franchise group led by Fred Couzens. He told What Now Denver that they hope to have the business open by mid-August. The company’s page advertises that Riley Miller will be the manager and that hiring is underway for other team members.

The site, previously a car wash, is being modified to hold a drive-thru coffee shop. 7 Brew operates exclusively with this model; all of its stores are referred to as stands, with a walk-up window and drive-thru lane but no inside seating.

Wabeek opened its first 7 Brew location in Firestone in December. What Now Denver announced its pending arrival last fall. And in addition to the Kipling project, Couzens confirmed they are also working on a stand about three miles away on Wadsworth.

Founded in 2017 in Arkansas, 7 Brew Coffee has since grown into a formidable franchise system with more than 300 locations open. The business has a massive customizable menu that includes coffee, teas, smoothies, infused energy drinks, flavored sodas, shakes, and chillers. Along with Colorado, the company is also exploring franchise opportunities in Texas and Connecticut.
