Kini’s and Cretans will open in two separate suites at the Clayton, a hotel located at 233 Clayton St, Denver, CO 80206, this fall; the two establishments will exist just east of Quality Branded’s Quality Italian steakhouse found on the ground level of the Halcyon hotel.
Kini’s will take over the former Of a Kind restaurant while Cretans will set up shop where OAK Market once resided. These two incoming concepts will be the first of Quality Branded’s operations to showcase in a city other than New York. While Kini’s — a Greek island-inspired eatery — will readily offer its fresh, light dishes later this month, the Mediterranean wine bar, Cretans, won’t debut until November, according to The Denver Business Journal.
Quality Branded CEO Michael Stillman worked with the owner of the Clayton, Matt Joblon, to conceive both Kini’s and Cretans. Kini’s will specialize in wood-oven-roasted fish and meats, plates for two that include a dry-aged tomahawk rib steak, and an oyster-offering raw bar.
On the other hand, Cretans will concentrate on “a wide-ranging selection of natural and biodynamic producers pushing the boundaries of modern winemaking, as well as those reviving ancient traditions and embracing heritage varietals near the birthplace of wine.”
