Nationwide juice bar chain Pure Green is opening a franchised location in Boulder, according to a food plan filing with the City of Boulder. The upcoming Pure Green is set to open in the retail space on 2255 31st St. within the 30 Pearl Apartment Complex.

Originally based in New York City, Pure Green is a health-focused juice franchise founded in 2014 by CEO Ross Franklin. Over 12 years of operation, the chain has expanded to 100 locations across 24 states and Washington, D.C., particularly concentrated in California and Florida. The upcoming Pure Green is the fourth in Colorado, owned by franchisee Steve Murphy. Pure Green also has existing locations in Cherry Creek and Washington Park, with a third location on the way in Fort Collins.

Pure Green is known for its focus on superfoods, like berries and nuts, which it loads into its bowls, smoothies and juices. If you’re booking yourself a little too tight and don’t have time to enjoy your nutrients, Pure Green also offers a more condensed juice shot.

Pure Green in Boulder does not have an opening date as of yet. What Now Denver has reached out for more information.
