Arvada is set to welcome Agave Blue, a new steakhouse cantina concept that will be a welcome addition to the area. Located at 18168 W 92nd Ln #300, the restaurant has officially received its liquor license approval, according to state records.

Public notices from Colorado Community Media show the business applied for its license on July 28, and a hearing was held by the City of Arvada Liquor Licencing Author in mid-October. Records show that the owners are George and Nancy Troche. There are not many other details released yet about Agave Blue, and the company did not respond to requests for comment.

The Arvada Chamber of Commerce first announced the venture in a Facebook post, saying, “Coming soon to the Candelas neighborhood, Agave Blue is a new steakhouse cantina…We cannot wait for this new concept!”

Maps show the restaurant will move into a space near a new Ziggi’s Coffee and a Coldstone Creamery. It’s in the western part of Arvada in the foothills by the Rocky Flats National Wildlife Refuge, off the intersections of Highways 93 and 72.
