Beloved Denver artisan bakery, Bakery Four, is gearing up to open its second location, hinting at a new outpost on the company’s Instagram page in mid-December. There has not been an exact address announced yet, but the company made some hints about the area it will be in.

“Piggybacking off our last post when we asked where you’d want to see our pastries in the Denver Metro. Here’s a little teaser where we’re headed next! Any guesses?” the company posted, showing a map that seemingly pans to the City Park/Congress Park area.

Followers on the post guessed that it could be moving into Denver Botanic Gardens or the old Fox Run Café space. On Reddit, a poster said they heard that this location will only have pastries and not bread.

Bakery Four’s flagship shop is a 3,000-square-foot location at 4150 Tennyson Street, its website states. The bakery also operates a bagel-focused shop, Rich Spirit, in Wheat Ridge.

The concept is owned by Shawn Bergin, who started the business as a cottage food operation in 2019. Neither the company nor Bergin responded to a request for comment before publication.
