A historic building at 2100 Larimer Street, is poised to undergo a significant redevelopment. There are plans for a multi-phase renovation of the space that includes a restaurant, according to a post from Developing Denver.

The post divulged that Monfort Companies, in partnership with Magnetic Capital, plans to add two additional stories to the current three-story building, expanding it to 18,700 square feet. The revamped property will feature a ground-floor dining and drinking establishment, with modern office spaces above it.

Just two blocks from Coors Field in Denver’s bustling Ballpark District, the site is in a prime location. It was most recently El Charrito. The two groups acquired the property in 2019, Business Den reports. In recent years, however, the property fell into disrepair and landed on the city’s list of “neglected and derelict” buildings.

The current status of the project is unknown, and a representative told What Now Denver they would reach out when the information is ready.
