A new sushi hotspot is moving in at Broomfield’s HiFi at FlatIron Crossing, the property’s social pages shared this week. Blue Sushi Sake Grill, the inventive concept from Flagship Restaurant Group, will open at the site in 2027, though an exact address or unit is unknown at this stage.

The announcement also included two other new additions: Memoir – An American Grill, opening its first Colorado location, and Shake Shack, the QSR favorite. Memoir is also a Flagship Restaurant Group brand.

Founded in 2002, Blue Sushi Sake Grill originated in Omaha, Nebraska, its site explains. Over the past two decades, the eatery has expanded across the U.S., with locations in Nebraska, Texas, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Missouri, Ohio, Tennessee, Alabama, Arizona, and Colorado. Currently, there is only one in the state, in LoDo.

The menu features specialty nigiri, sashimi, and maki rolls, plus creative vegan options and yummy starters and share plates. All seafood is sustainably sourced to minimize environmental impact. A full bar and curated sake selection offer cocktails alongside sake flights and draft beers.

In addition to Blue Sushi Sake Grill and Memoir, Flagship Restaurant Group manages many other concepts: Clio, Pyro, Palma, Châm Pang Lanes, Ghost Donkey, Plank Provisions, Anthem, Blatt Beer & Table, Flagship Commons, Revival House, and Roja Mexican Grill.
