Old Town Fort Collins will have a new bakery business opening later this year, records show. A concept called Bread Fellow is planned for the space at 247 Linden St. in the bustling downtown area, and the owners are waiting on city approval.

Jenn Webb, who is opening the business with her husband, expects to have their doors open this fall. She told What Now Denver the space will have a full espresso bar.

The menu “centers around hearty soups, naturally leavened breads, seasonal toasts, wholegrain pastries, salads, simple dinners, and weekend brunch,” Webb explained.

Their plans for Bread Fellow’s design are an ode to Spanish colonial, British countryside, and 1880’s farmhouse styles. They will be using reclaimed beams from the property renovation to build out the bar, tables, and shelves.

247 Linden was previously the home of Joe’s Auto Upholstery for many decades. The property was built in 1882.

  • Very much looking forward to this opening. I would love to hear all the history of this building before the car seat repair.
