Altitude Hospitality Group is bringing a beloved local favorite to its new culinary center The Homestead. Fox21 reports its popular Dad’s Donuts business is set to open at the former Pinery North building at 9633 Prominent Point.

The publication explains that it will fill one of The Homestead’s multiple dining concepts and retail spaces, and open sometime in the spring. It joins the roster of other companies under the Altitude Hospitality Group umbrella, such as Roost Coffee, The Mercantile, Campfire Pizza, and Till.

Known for their signature 109-layer cronuts — a fusion of croissants and donuts — each pastry undergoes a meticulous four-day process to achieve its flaky, airy perfection. Dad’s Donuts website states it uses no artificial additives, preservatives, or hydrogenated oils.

Dad’s Donuts’ first location opened last year, according to Springs Mag. It is located in downtown Colorado Springs, across from Atomic Cowboy and near Garden of the Gods Market and Cafe. It’s about 15 miles from where The Homestead will be.

Altitude Hospitality Group did not return What Now Media’s request for comment in time for publication.
