With its fourth location in the works, Denver Beer Co. is also adding more outdoor space to its original taproom on Platte St. in Denver. Renovations will include a 2,500-square-foot patio space covered by a pergola.

The space opened temporarily during COVID, but now, it will be a permanent, fenced patio space. A new rolling garage door will provide access from the taproom to the patio.

Denver Beer Co. is waiting on permits from the city, but construction on the project will get underway as soon as possible, according to Diana Crawford, Denver Beer Co. Public Relations Director. They hope to open the outdoor space sometime this summer.

Denver Beer Co. has three taprooms—1695 Platte St. and 2425 S. Downing St. in Denver and one at 5768 Olde Wadsworth Blvd. in Arvada. Construction is getting underway on a fourth taproom in the Boulevard One development at 7070 E. Lowry Blvd. The Lowry location is expected to open in late fall of 2022 and will include a brewery, taproom, two outdoor patios, and a garden.

Denver Beer Co. has developed a variety of brews including the Princess Yum Yum raspberry Kolsch, Love This City pilsner, and Throwin’ Haze hazy IPA. Seltzers include the Cucumber Lime Spritzer and Lemon Hibiscus Fizz, and seasonal offerings are also available.
