Denver’s culinary landscape is set to welcome a new addition with the arrival of Insee Noodle House, a premium Thai-style noodle restaurant. City records show a commercial construction permit is “in progress” for the new business, coming to 1700 Platte.
The restaurant is the latest concept from Ounjit Hardacre and Dueanphen Rungrueang, the owners of Daughter Thai Kitchen and Bar and the now-closed Citizen Thai in Golden. It is a 2,174-square-foot space that was formerly a tea shop and can accommodate 53 guests, construction documents state.
Manager Angela Fillian tells What Now Denver it is named after Hardacre’s father Insee, and the word translates to “strong” and “honor.” Situated right next door to their existing establishment, the owners plan to start the remodel this month and anticipate opening by mid-April 2025.
According to a branding portfolio online, Insee Noodle House will focus on offering authentic Thai flavors in a warm, retro-inspired atmosphere. The target audience is listed as “30% Asians and 70% Westerners” aged 20 to 45.
