A stylish new lounge is coming to Frisco, state liquor licensing records show. Silver Crown, coming from husband-and-wife duo Jay Dorman and Christine Thompson, is set to welcome patrons this summer at 80 West Main Street, Unit 120.

The business received its liquor license on May 13th, after it was submitted on March 26. While its website promises “the best selection of premium whiskey, scotch, and bourbon in Summit County”, it will also serve small plates, cocktails, and handcrafted pour-over coffee made with a high-end Slayer Steam V3 espresso machine.

The 2,000-square-foot space will have dim lighting, plush seating, sound-absorbing ceilings, a fireplace, and curated decor from Thompson’s Los Angeles-based design firm, JAC Interiors. It boasts an outdoor patio with panoramic views of Wichita, Little Chief, and Buffalo mountains, Dorman tells What Now Denver.

“We designed The Silver Crown to be a warm, friendly, yet elevated whiskey lounge. There’s nothing quite like it up here. Nothing matters more than friends and family, brought together over great food & drinks, and we think we’ve built the perfect place for it,” he said.

Dorman has a background in tech/operations, shaped by years working with giants like Disney, Madison Square Garden, and Coors Field. He holds a Master’s in Administration and completed a Bar and Restaurant Management certificate at Cornell.
