Mobile coffee business Green Bus Cafe has found a permanent home at 1426 E 22nd Ave in the Whittier neighborhood. Owner Dustin Croniser is excited for its grand opening to happen sometime this fall, he tells What Now Denver.

Croniser launched the business in 2021, with a mobile coffee cart run out of a 1976 Volkswagen Microbus and a trailer. The company serves coffee and vegetarian, gluten-free treats at farmers’ markets and events.

The new cafe is located in the former Scoops Ice Cream shop. It’s directly north of  St. Joseph Hospital, and east of downtown Denver. It will share a building with a pet supply store, grooming salon, sandwich shop, and an event space.

“We are operating take-out service from our to-go windows while we renovate and go through the licensing process. We are open from our to-go windows Thursday-Sunday 8 AM- 2 PM,” Croniser explained.
