After nearly a decade serving craft beer and building community in central Colorado Springs, Lost Friend Brewing Co. is preparing to take a major step forward. The business, located at 2458 Montebello Square Drive, has filed plans to expand into the adjacent suite, records show.

The project is currently undergoing development plan review by the City of Colorado Springs. A According Project Statement submitted June 16 states it will take over the vacant neighboring suite for more seating, added brewing capacity, a new commercial kitchen, and a new patio extension.

Founded by Andy and Alyssa France, Lost Friend Brewing has built a loyal following with its relaxed, community-first approach. The brewery is dog-friendly — complete with carabiners on tables to secure leashes — and features board games, scenic views of Pikes Peak, and a rotation of local food trucks, its website states.

The woman- and veteran-owned company told What Now Denver that it’s not ready to provide any details at this point in time.
