Lotus Concepts — the Colorado-based group specializing in “hospitality, fun, nightlife, and all things local” — has big plans to deliver a handful of diverse projects in the coming months.
As reported by What Now Denver in April of this year, Lotus Concepts will debut its third and fourth My Neighbor Felix locations at the former Landry’s Seafood House (7209 S. Clinton St. in Centennial) and at the Promenade Shops at Briargate (1645 Briargate Pkwy., Ste. 203 in Colorado Springs), respectively. However, the launch dates for each have changed:
My Neighbor Felix #3 was originally slated to open in summer 2022; it will now open in December 2022.
My Neighbor Felix #4 was originally slated to open in late 2022; it will now open in March 2023.
Felix’s two other stores are located in LoHi (1801 Central St. Denver, CO 80211) and Boulder (901 Pearl St, Boulder, CO 80302).
Lotus Concepts will also open a new Mediterranean bites & cocktails concept called Wonderyard Garden & Table at 2200 Larimer Street in March 2023.
Of the concept, LC Vice President Kasie Carbacio says, “We’re really capitalizing on the outside space…It’s in the middle of the city, and it’s going to feel like a garden.”
And in late 2023/early 2024, LC will debut a yet-to-be-named steakhouse at 1525 Blake Street, where Rio Grande Mexican Restaurant was previously located.
Additionally, the group’s founder, Francois Safieddine, purchased land in front of Prost Brewing Co. & Biergarten in LoHi and has submitted plans to build a restaurant there.
The main floor will be 4,395 square feet, and the second floor will be 1,725 square feet — though the lot is zoned for up to five stories. The restaurant’s tentative name is New View Restaurant. There is currently no projected opening date.
