Mexican restaurant Mariscos El Rey is opening eatery número cuatro, according to liquor licensing data. Documents show the business’ next outpost is set to be located at 1811 S Academy Blvd. in Colorado Springs.

The chain, which serves Sinoloan seafood dishes in coastal-themed venues, has three current locations: two in Aurora and one in Lakewood. Its extensive menu features ceviche, Mexican sushi, tostadas, oysters, tacos, fajitas, and more.

Records show Mariscos El Rey #4 is a 9,639-square-foot property that will employ approximately 30 individuals. Renderings display plenty of seating and a large bar in the center of the space.

The Local Licensing Authority Hearing Officer reviewed the application for a Hotel/Restaurant liquor license on Friday but a decision was not made public by the time of this article’s writing.
