Misfit Snack Bar, the brainchild of acclaimed chef Bo Porytko, is pausing operations at the end of this month. The concept will move on from its current spot at Middleman on Colfax, social media posts state.

“The rumors are true, Misfit will stop operating at Middleman at the end of this month…but there is good news. We are only shutting down as we search for Misfit’s very own home to stretch its legs and make even more of the food you love. We’re not abandoning you, we’re just finding room to grow,” Porytko wrote on Instagram.

An innovative dining spot, Misfit Snack Bar is known for its ever-changing menu and bold culinary creations. Porytko previously co-owned Rebel Restaurant and is a founder of Molotov Kitschen + Cocktails.

Launched in 2019 from a small kitchen within the trendy cocktail bar Middleman, the spot quickly became a favorite among Denver’s adventurous eaters. In its place will be Rock N Lobster Roll, a local food truck business.
