Broomfield residents searching for a taste of Thailand will soon find the perfect location for lunch or dinner. Bangkok Avenue is set to open in early 2022.
Matt Stephens told What Now Denver that he and his wife Kate Stephens had been searching for the perfect spot for their mom-and-pop shop and decided on 3700 W. 144th Ave. in Broomfield. “There’s just no Thai food around there, so everybody seems to be pretty excited about the prospect of having a Thai restaurant,” Stephens said.
Kate has worked in the restaurant industry, but this is their first opportunity to open a brick-and-mortar eatery. They are still working on the menu, but Bangkok Avenue’s concept is popular street dishes from Thailand, ramen, and boba drinks. “We want to make it affordable, healthy, and quick to make,” Stephens shared.
Stephens said remodeling is underway at the former Subway shop to change it into a casual dining experience for Bangkok Avenue guests. The location will offer indoor and outdoor seating for dine-in guests and a to-go option.
Stephens said they hope to open Bangkok Avenue in mid-January of 2022.
