A new Peruvian restaurant is coming to Lone Tree. The RED LLAMA, a popular catering business, announced this week that it signed a lease for a brick-and-mortar location at 8331 Willow St.

“The Red Llama Restaurant Coming soon! For the last two years we have trying to find the perfect place to open The Red Llama’s home. We fell many times but got back up, and finally after what seems to be an eternity, here we are!” a Facebook post from the company reads.

Chef Jhordano Vásquez and his wife Marisol Armas (the daughter of Benny’s Restaurant & Cantina owner Benjamin Armas) own the establishment. She told What Now Denver that they signed the lease last week and will start working permits right away.

The space is by Park Meadows Mall, and will have a modern atmosphere with Peruvian decor. It is located in the Shoppes At The Meadows plaza, near a nail salon, phone store, shoe retailer, and several other food businesses.
