The Texas Roadhouse location at The Shoppes at Northfield (8470 E. Northfield Blvd.) may be undergoing some upgrades to expand the place. According to Naked Denver, a formal site development plan was submitted that shows what the company is considering changing.
A 439-square-foot addition is proposed that would add approximately 40 more seats. As it stands currently, the restaurant, which opened in 2015, is 7,200 square feet. Engineering firm Atwell is listed on documents as part of the project.
No further details are known at this stage. Texas Roadhouse declined to comment on the situation, telling What Now Denver they have “no plans that we can confirm.”
The Shops at Northfield, a retail complex that draws more than 8.5 million visitors annually, has several redevelopments ongoing. Stockdale Capital Partners has been upgrading public spaces and signing new tenants, including a Life Time athletic club that will be near the Texas Roadhouse, Mile High CRE reports.
