Dave’s Hot Chicken is officially on its way to Green Valley Ranch in northeast Denver, with a new drive-thru restaurant approved for construction at 5690 N Tower Road. City records show the popular Nashville-style hot chicken chain will debut a store at the site.
Although some permits show that it may have been originally slated for a Birdcall, the operator for the location confirmed to What Now Denver that plans are moving forward for a Dave’s.
Jason Beld, a multi-unit franchisee with the brand, told the publication that construction started in March and they hope to open doors in October. He said it will be a 2,400-square-foot location with seating for 46 inside and 36 additional patrons on an outdoor patio.
Beld and his business partner Marc Rogers are behind a larger push for the brand in Colorado. Franchising.com covered when the pair signed an 11-unit franchise deal for Denver and Larimer counties back in 2020, and What Now Denver wrote about their latest project, an upcoming Greenwood Village store, back in March.
Design and permit documents show contributions from: Carson Tidwell at MRP Design, Nathan Mendel of M&C Consultants, and Evgeny Khandoga and Joe Park of Galloway & Company.
