Culinary Creative group’s Red Tops Rendezvous, which debuted last year, has announced its temporary closure, citing ongoing city construction. A Denver Post article states that the business, located at 2917 W. 25th Ave., has no choice but to shut its doors for now.

Construction, which began last fall and is expected to continue through the summer, has rendered the surrounding streets untenable for business, according to a press release from Culinary Creative. The city is making improvements on Federal Boulevard and West 25th Avenue.

Red Tops Rendezvous was started by Kevin Eddy, co-founder of Culinary Creative who grew up in Detroit. The hospitality company said that it is optimistic about reopening the concept in the future.

The closure comes less than a year after the restaurant’s opening in July 2023. It is the first restaurant built from the ground up by Culinary Creative, which also operates Mr. Oso, Highland Tap & Burger, A5 Steakhouse, Ash’kara, and Kumoya.
