Capri Seafood and Bar is a new concept that will open its doors this summer at 3901 Fox St., in the heart of Denver’s Globeville neighborhood. A recent Denver Post report states that the upcoming restaurant is taking over a long-vacant shell.

Occupying 5,700 square feet, this new establishment aims to bring a taste of northeast Mexico to the local dining scene. The space, previously home to The Crafty Fox Taphouse + Pizzeria, has been empty since that business’ closing in June 2019.

The restaurant is the brainchild of Zulma Cervantes and her brother Marcos, who come from a family of restaurateurs in Mexico. Capri will feature an array of fine seafood dishes inspired by the flavors of the northeast region of their home country.

Fox Island, a semi-isolated enclave within the Globeville neighborhood, is undergoing significant development. With new apartments and the anticipated Fox Park project, the area is poised for growth and a new eatery is just what the street needs.
