Snarf’s keeps eating up new ground. According to a conversation with founder Jimmy Seidel, Snarf’s Sandwiches will be building a new location at 549 W. Highlands Ranch Parkway with a goal of opening by late March 2023.

“We’re hoping that we have some new snarfers there,” Seidel said in a conversation with What Now Denver. “Snarf became my nickname in college and it became just about everything. ‘Snarf’ can be an adjective, a noun, a verb. We have snarfers, snarfettes, a whole dictionary for the term.”

Since opening the original store in Boulder in 1996, Snarf’s has exploded through Colorado and into Missouri and Texas. The family-owned business has grown to 24 restaurants in Colorado alone, and three more are expected in the greater Denver area through 2023. With over eight locations under lease right now, the sandwich shop aims to open 10 more shops (including St. Louis and Austin, Texas) in just the coming year.

Between bread delivered fresh daily from local bakers, Snarf’s melted cheese and hot meat sammies are irresistible. This includes the December special, the Italian Supreme, sporting marinara, crumbled meatballs, pepperoni, salami, capicola, mortadella, grilled onions, grilled mushrooms, and Giardiniera hot peppers sitting below gooey provolone and fresh parmesan cheese. For classic sub lovers, there are the Italian, roast beef and provolone, turkey and Swiss, and other options donning loads of customizable toppings. As an opener or alternative, Snarf’s also offers salads and rotating soups, along with side chips and cookie desserts.

Most locations do not have beer, but there are a few Snarf’s craft beer lovers can sniff out to get some suds. Customers can pick up sandwiches, order delivery, or sit-down at the approximately 40-to-60 seat restaurants, including the new 2,900 square foot Highlands Ranch location. Keep an eye out for a new Snarf’s near you.
