Starbird, a fast-growing California-based fast-food brand, is set to bring seven new locations to the Denver area, according to a press release from the company. The expansion marks Starbird’s first franchise units outside California and kicks off the brand’s nationwide growth strategy.

The business will bring its crispy chicken and chef-driven flavors to the metro area, starting in mid-2025. Addresses for these locations are not publicly available at this time.

Starbird’s move into Denver is backed by a new franchise partnership with Whiplash Holdings. The deal was just signed last week, and the business is currently in the process of site selection.

“Starbird’s quality and vision immediately resonated with our team: a fast-food experience that prioritizes quality, flavor, and a strong connection to the community,” said owner Daniel Wagner.
