A yummy addition is on the horizon for Southlands with the announcement of a new concept called En Fuego Cantina coming. The eatery will be debuting at the 6155 S Main St. mall in Aurora, according to social media posts.

En Fuego Cantina is the latest venture from the owners of Heritage Cafe. Reports say it  will open in the old Sazón shell, next to Ted’s Montana Grill. It should open around the beginning of the summer.

The restaurant promises to be a tacos and tequila concept. There will be spirit flights, street tacos, and a diverse menu from fresh, locally sourced ingredients from companies like Daz Bog, Raquelitas Tortillas, and Polidori Sausage.

“You’ll love our friendly and welcoming atmosphere so bring your smiles. We can’t wait to meet you!” a post on the Southlands website reads. Other eateries at the outdoor shopping center include Mt Fuji Hibachi & Sushi Bar, Monsoon, Noodles & Company, Chipotle Mexican Grill, and Bad Daddy’s Burger Bar.
