Nothing Bundt Cakes has signed a long-term lease to open a new bakery in Parker, continuing the brand’s expansion across the state. According to Trevey Commercial Real Estate, the signature sweet chain is the newest tenant at the Twenty Mile Station plaza, at 18901 E. Mainstreet, Suite C.
The dessert shop will occupy a 1,966-square-foot space situated between Taste of Philly and Palm Beach Tan in a retail strip that also includes Bread & Butters, Pure Barre, a nail salon, and a grocery store. Construction documents detail a “second-generation interior finish” for a store with an occupant load of 14.
The site plan identifies Landry Architects and ARJO Engineers as the design and engineering firms. Breton Avenir Construction Services, Inc. has been seeking bids for the build-out, with proposals due this week. A timeline for construction and opening is unclear, as requests for comment went unanswered.
Records show the tenant is registered as Dankatpar, LLC — operated by Dana and Kathleen Weddle. The Weddles also own a Nothing Bundt Cakes location at Aurora’s Southlands Mall, which opened in June 2015, according to the Aurora Sentinel.
Nothing Bundt Cakes was founded in 1997 by Dena Tripp and Debbie Shwetz in Las Vegas. The company has since grown into the top specialty cake company in the U.S., with over 600 locations nationwide. It has earned repeated national recognition, including top rankings from Franchise Times, Franchise Business Review, and Entrepreneur for growth, food category leadership, and support for women in franchising.
