Three Denver beer concepts are teaming up to start a brewery incubator venture called Cheetah Coalition, and they are ramping up efforts to grow. According to Hop Culture, the enterprise is seeking investors and looking for a larger location to evolve the idea.
The coalition is comprised of Kelissa Hieber, owner of Goldspot Brewing; Lex Laughman, founder of Neon Buzz Beerworks; and Jacob Sabo, creator of Flower Shop Beer Werks. They have a goal of offering a unique opportunity for startup breweries to share production space, split the cost of goods, and test their brands.
All three brands currently brew out of Goldspot Brewing at 4970 Lowell Blvd. in the Regis neighborhood. But now in their second year working together, the group wants to relocate to a larger space around 6,000 to 10,000 square feet, Denver Post says. For reference, the production area at Goldspot is only 2,500 square feet.
To make it happen, the Cheetah Coalition is accepting new brands to join or outside investors to partner with them. Hieber, Sabo, and Laughman are offering a 10% return after six months, with tiers starting at just $25. They hope to raise $10,000 to $20,000.
