A property in Denver’s Baker neighborhood will undergo changes as it transforms from hot dogs to hand-tossed pies. Mile High Vienna Stand at 300 Santa Fe Drive will soon become Walter’s303 Pizzeria & Publik House, Business Den reports

Michael Kienast, owner of Walter’s303 Pizzeria, purchased the historic building for $1.33 million recently. It was originally constructed in 1927, and had been home to Mile High Vienna Stand since 2008.

This will be the fourth location for the business; others are in Uptown, Lowry, Littleton, and Colorado Springs. The company was started 15 years ago and specializes in pizzas and pub fare from family recipes.

The 2,118-square-foot location will focus more so on to-go orders, reports state. It’s in the heart of the bustling Santa Fe Arts District on one of Denver’s busier streets. Some construction work will need to be done to accommodate for the business, articles say.
