Denver Beer Co. has joined Wilding Brands, the parent company of Stem Ciders. The holding company has been expanding its portfolio lately, and it will now be in charge of the business’s five taprooms across the Centennial State, according to the Denver Post.

One of Colorado’s largest independently owned craft breweries, the company was founded in 2011 by Patrick Crawford and Charlie Berger. It now has locations on Platte Street, in the Lowry and Rosedale neighborhoods, and in Olde Town Arvada and Littleton.

This strategic move positions Denver Beer Co. alongside other notable beverage brands under the Wilding umbrella, including Stem Ciders, Cerveceria Colorado, Funkwerks, Formation Brewing, Easy Living Hop Water, and Howdy Beer. The group also operates Acreage cidery and restaurant, and Ghost Box Pizza, its website shows.

As part of this change, Denver Beer Co. has also converted all its state liquor licenses into “brewpub” licenses, allowing the company’s locations to serve wine and cocktails alongside its beer offerings.
