GEM Studio is coming to Broomfield, giving shoppers a chance to make their own jewelry while learning the craft behind it.
The studio will be at 1 W. Flatiron Crossing Drive.
GEM Studio specializes in hands-on jewelry classes where visitors will craft pieces under the guidance of skilled silversmiths. Their programs cover silversmithing and charm as well as permanent jewelry experiences.
Silversmithing classes usually last for two to three hours where visitors craft such items as rings, bracelets, pendants, and earrings. Charm classes are also provided by GEM Studios allowing customers to select their own chains and charms.
GEM Studios started operations in 2017 and has been expanding into various regions in the U.S. and Canada. According to the business, its mission is to unite people through activities such as making jewelry in support of humanitarian efforts through its nonprofit work.
The Broomfield location will join the retail and entertainment mix at FlatIron Crossing. An opening date for the new studio has not yet been announced.
