Wayfair is bringing its first Mountain West store to Denver, marking another step in the home furnishings retailer’s expansion.

The new store will open at Avenues at Northfield, formerly The Shops at Northfield, with an opening planned for the fourth quarter of 2026. It will be located at 8298 E. Northfield Blvd.

The approximately 140,000-square-foot, two-story store will occupy the former Macy’s space at the shopping center.

The Denver location will showcase Wayfair’s extensive product catalog, featuring Wayfair Verified items selected by the company’s product experts. Spanning two floors, the store will include 19 departments offering furniture, housewares, appliances, mattresses, florals and décor, along with dedicated design services.

Customers will also be able to visit The Porch, an all-day café serving light bites and beverages while they shop.

Founded in 2002 by Niraj Shah and Steve Conine, Wayfair has grown from an online home furnishings retailer into a national brand with an expanding brick-and-mortar presence.
