A northwest suburb is getting a new fitness option.
Gerdom Realty recently posted about a new finalized deal for L’Atelier Pilates coming to 27865 Orchard Lake Road in Farmington Hills. This is taking over the iSweat Cycling & Fitness space. The team at L’Atelier Pilates did not want to provide an opening date as of yet.
Not much is known about the pilates studio, but it will have certified pilates instructors for classes catered to specific needs. It is described as a “boutique reformer pilates studio.” These types of studios use Pilates Reformers with straps, springs and pulleys.
“L’Atelier Pilates — where luxury meets movement, strength meets elegance, and every detail is intentionally designed,” says the description on their Instagram page.
The studio is coming to the north side of the Orchard 12 Shopping Center, close to The Comicade comic book store. This will also share the building with Dubon Nutrition shop and Pho Vinh Vietnamese restaurant. The plaza is at the northwest corner of Orchard Lake and W 12 Mile roads.
From recent building progress online, the walls and flooring are being installed. More updates on the official opening date can be found on their Instagram page in the coming weeks.
