Plans are up in the air for a shop offering beauty needs in Hudsonville.
The Avon Shop cosmetics store is looking for a new location in the Grand Rapids area. Owner Rachael Kruys has been at her current space, 5296 Plaza Avenue in Hudsonville, for two years and is looking at opening again in the city. If a lease agreement goes through, she will announce the location in the coming days.
“22 days until our move!” Says a recent post from The Avon Shop.
At the business, Kruys sells beauty and skin products like perfumes, lipstick, day cream and sun tan lotion. Jewelry is also sold at the location, including bracelets, necklaces and earrings. In the past, she has offered clearance deals.
Kruy’s business currently operates at the corner of Plaza Avenue and Central Boulevard, close to Playmakers GCC trading card store. Other retailers nearby include Jenson Jewelers, Hudsonville Floral & Gift and Leaping Panda Hobbies.
Until she can find a firm location for her store, she is not yet announcing an address. More information will be released on The Avon Shop Facebook page in the coming weeks.
