Josephine’s Restaurant & Lounge is embarking on an opening in the East Little York area of Woodland Acres. According to a recently filed permit, the new eatery is expected to open at 11110 HOMESTEAD ROAD.

The permit further details that construction on the new Joshephine’s Restaurant and Lounge is already underway and is slated to wrap up at the beginning of September. If all goes well with the estimated $192,900 construction project and permitting, the new Josephine’s should open by this fall.

At the helm of the opening is Codey HawthorneWhat Now Houston briefly spoke with Hawthorne, who excitedly confirmed the opening. But, unfortunately, Hawthorne was unable to share further details by the time of this publication. Hawthorne did confirm that he expects to open the new Josephine’s Restaurant & Lounge before the end of this fall.

In Houston, there’s a Josephine’s seafood restaurant. It’s unclear if the two are related. But the eatery has been serving the Greater Houston region for the past three years. The eatery is known for serving a variety of fresh seafood eats, including oysters, poboysshrimp etouffee, and more.

As we inch closer towards opening, we’re sure more details about this exciting concept will be revealed. So keep your ears open, and your eyes perked for the latest!
