Lucky Village Chinese Buffet, a long-standing buffet featuring more than 150 items, has closed for renovations. The good news is the restaurant is not moving! According to a Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation permit, the large-scale eatery is expected to reopen in the Westchase area at 10755 Westheimer Road.
The permit also details that construction is currently underway. The brand’s website shows that Lucky Village Chinese Buffet is getting a redesign of its interior. The $213,000 construction project on the 12,800 square foot space is slated to be completed by mid-July. If all goes well with construction and permitting, the renewed Lucky Village Chinese Buffet should open before the end of summer.
What Now Houston reached out to Lucky Village Chinese Buffet’s Aixiang Xie, whose number was also listed on the permit. Unfortunately, we did not hear back from Xie by the time of this publication.
The family-oriented dining venue is known for its extensive buffet with more than 150 items, live cooking stations, and popular seafood, including crawfish and crab legs. Lucky Village Chinese Buffet offers a wide range of choices, including sushi, salads, and traditional Chinese dishes. Their specialties include the live wok cooking stations.
It is noted for its spacious, multi-level seating and has served as a consistent, high-volume dining spot in the Westchase area since its inception. Now, with slight changes to its dining area, we’re sure the reception will be the same.
Lucky Village Chinese Buffet is anticipated to reopen after renovations in the Westchase area at 10755 Westheimer Road by this summer.
